C2C 2020 Artist Introductions: Angie K

Following her previous trip across the pond where she appeared at one of Nashville Meets London’s Pizza Express Live shows in Holborn as her official UK debut back in July last year, Angie K is back for a welcome return to London for this years Country to Country. She will bring her killer skills as a guitarist along with her edgy powerful vocals to deliver her slick blend of sun-kissed rootsy country rock as she performs at the festival for the first time both for her own sets and part of the CMA KixStart show on the Sunday morning.

From Marietta, GA where she moved to at 11 after being born and raised in El Salvador, Angie Keilhauer marked her trade performing on cruise ships and independently released her ‘Live Acoustic Sessions’ EP in 2014 followed by ‘Wild’ in 2016. Her latest single ‘Leave California’ dropped in May last year and you can listen to it HERE. The love of the water is evident as she recently hopped on board Brantley Gilbert’s ‘Kick it in the Ship Cruise’ then following C2C she heads to play Tortuga Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and later in the year joins the fourth Melissa Etheridge Cruise.

In 2016 she appeared on season 10 of The Voice where she reached the knockout rounds after her audition of Dierks Bentley’s ‘I Hold On’ earned her chair turns from Adam Levine, Pharrell Williams along with the man she chose as her coach Blake Shelton. The other place you may have come across Angie is if you have been to The Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida and seen their nighttime spectacular ‘Happily Ever After’ the theme tune included in the show is her duet with Jordan Fisher. We are thrilled she is returning to London and are excited to hear more new music and that glorious voice once again.

Angie is a member of the current CMA KixStart Artist Scholarship Class which is now in it’s second year (following last years first inception featuring Travis Denning, Kassi Ashton and Jameson Rodgers) and is a year long mentoring programme involving building connections with industry professionals and participating in events organised by the CMA including Country to Country where she will join the other 2 class members Everette and Kylie Morgan for a special session at the festival on the Sunday morning in London in addition to performances of her own across the weekend.

Angie Keilhauer heads to Europe for C2C Country to Country where she will appear in London joining Everette and Kylie Morgan for the CMA Kixstart in Conversation on Sunday March 15th and over the weekend at the Country Hits Radio Sessions at The Loft, the Town Square Stage and the Big Entrance Stage. Hi, I’m Annette, I have been a huge country music fan since the early 90s those were the days we were lucky enough to have CMT in the UK. I enjoy nothing more than listening to country music whilst having a cold beer (or a moonshine) with friends. I try to as many gigs as I can here in the UK and in the USA; I think of Nashville as my second home and I am lucky to have made some amazing friends in Tennessee. Think Country is something I am very proud of, I just want to share my love and passion of all things country music related with you all.
