Meet the team
Annette (Founder – Think Country)
Hi, I’m Annette, I have been a huge country music fan since the early 90s, those were the days we were lucky enough to have CMT in the UK.
I enjoy nothing more than listening to country music whilst having a cold beer (or a moonshine) with friends. I try to go to as many gigs as I can here in the UK and in the USA; I think of Nashville as my second home and I am lucky to have made some amazing friends in Tennessee.
Think Country is something I am very proud of, I just want to share my love and passion of all things country music related with you all.
I’m Patti. I love just about every genre of music, history and I’m a genealogy addict. I’m a pop culture junkie and I have a lot of useless information stuck in my head! I’m so happy to be a part of the Think Country Team because teamwork is really what life is all about, isn’t it?
Bill (International Photographer)
I’m Bill and I’m thrilled to be a part of Think Country UK! I’m a resident of Nashville, Tennessee, which allows me to photograph so many amazing country artists – often so many that I have to turn down opportunities, because try as I might, I still haven’t figured out how to be in two or more places at one time! I love this city and I love sharing the music through my photography. I hope you enjoy the photos and I thank Annette for bringing me on board – it’s really an honor to be here.
Hi there ( or should I say Howdy Y’all??)
So excited to be part of the Think Country team, I am a massive music fan with Country and Americana being my particular passions! Great to see their rise in popularity here in the UK. Just love great lyrics, vocal harmonies and a song with a story! Throw in some steel and I am in heaven…..
I have a serious gig-going and cowboy boot collecting habit, which I am sure some of you can relate to! Occasionally I pick up a guitar and try my hand at songwriting. I am also passionate about animal welfare, and have recently left the London rat race behind to enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle in Buckinghamshire with my rescue dogs and cats. Cowgirl Lesley. xx
Since accidentally coming across Tim McGraw on BBC Radio 2 back in 1999, I have been an avid country music fan. From seeing Tim burst onto the stage at the O2 as the headliner of the first C2C in 2013, to hearing up and coming writers play the Bluebird Café in Nashville in 2015, my love for country has grown. These days I can’t get enough of listening to Chis Young, Dierks Bentley, Brett Eldredge and Little Big Town. I’m also passionate about championing the songwriters behind the music and I am a big fan of Lori McKenna. In my free time I can be found strumming away writing my own songs, and inspiring my two daughters to become little mini-me country music fanatics. I am delighted to be contributing to Think Country.
Hi! I’m Ciara, and I first fell in love with country music after hearing Rascal Flatts and Brad Paisley on the Disney Pixar ‘Cars’ soundtrack. It’s been a beautiful foray into the world of country music since: starting my journey by hosting a country music show on my university radio station, founding a companion blog, www.ciarascountry.blogspot.com which I still run to this day, and currently presenting ‘Ciara’s Country’ every Friday 5-8pm on www.ukcountryradio.com.
I’m a huge fan of modern country and country/pop crossover – think Kacey Musgraves, Thomas Rhett, Maren Morris, Dan + Shay; and am always discovering new up-and-coming artists that I love to share. I’m delighted to be part of the Think Country team and am looking forward to keep producing exciting country music content!
I am best known for two things; my sense of humor and my deep love of Country Music. I live in New Jersey, not where you expect to find a lot of Country Music fans. I am lucky to have a lot of great live music venues around me. I envy writers like Shane McAnally and Ashley Gorley and writer performers like Yesterday’s Wine and Ava Paige. I love to find out the meaning behind a song and how it came about to be written. Kenny Chesney, Luke Combs and Ashley McBride are my favorites that I do not go a day without listening to. When I am not hunting down live music or chasing my Jack Russel named Rodeo, you can find me fly fishing with my husband or playing my guitar. I am so happy to be a part of the Think Country team and sharing my love of Country Music with fellow fans.
