Ray Stevens’ Nouveau Retro (What’s Old Is New Again) Out Now

Country Music Hall of Fame member Ray Stevens, the two-time GRAMMY Award-winner has released four new albums within the first five months of 2021. Ray Stevens’ latest release, Nouveau Retro (What’s Old Is New Again), is available on all digital platforms. The release is made possible by Curb Records. Click here to stream or download.

The twelve-track record features beloved but sometimes forgotten songs of the past like “Blue Moon,” “Cry Me A River,” “Mountain of Love,” and “Always Chasing Rainbows / Over The Rainbow,” beautifully recreated from Ray’s point of view. “A great song continues to be ‘great’ even when it’s presented in a completely different way and this collection is definitely in that category,” explains Stevens. On July 23, fans can purchase all four new albums as a collection in a special-edition box set titled Iconic Songs of the 20th Century (The Soundtrack of Our Lives)Great Country Ballads Melancholy Fescue (High Class Bluegrass), Slow Dance, Nouveau Retro (What’s Old Is New Again). In 2018, Stevens opened his very own Nashville entertainment venue, the CabaRay Showroom. 

The venue is a 35,000 square foot music venue where Ray Stevens performs weekly live concerts during non-Covid times. He is a member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, the Georgia Music Hall of Fame, has a star on the Music City Walk of Fame. Ray Stevens was formally inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in the fall of 2019.
