O&O RELEASE NEW VERSION OF THEIR SINGLE ‘LEAVE IT ’TIL TOMORROW’ WITH LAURA OAKES

O&O on Friday released a new collaborative version of their latest single ‘Leave It ’Til Tomorrow’ with award-winning UK Country songstress, Laura Oakes. The track sees the duo’s signature harmonies complemented by Oakes’ unique and stunning vocal. The track was originally co-written by O&O and Laura Oakes before lockdown – a majestic song that sees both artists wanting to convey working through challenges in a relationship, despite rough times. The decision, therefore, to collaborate on the new track was one that the global pandemic was unable to prevent. Recorded remotely from home and premiered in a gorgeous live video on Maverick Magazine, both artists worked on their own parts separately before coming together in this magnificent collaboration (listen here).

Of the track O&O state: “[This is] “another one of our explorations into the intricacies of romantic relationships. For a while, the song was but an old-forgotten voice memo on Orian’s phone: a melody and lyric she hummed to herself in the shower. With the initial idea and a few chords at hand, we knew Laura was the perfect writer to help us realize the full potential of the song, which was completed in a few effortless hours spent in our living room over tea and cake.”

The duo’s full band headline show at legendary London venue the Spice Of Life, planned to coincide with this single release, has been re-scheduled to 18 September 2020, with support from Robbie Cavanagh & Jess Thristan – limited tickets on-sale now.

Hi, I’m Annette, I have been a huge country music fan since the early 90s those were the days we were lucky enough to have CMT in the UK. I enjoy nothing more than listening to country music whilst having a cold beer (or a moonshine) with friends. I try to as many gigs as I can here in the UK and in the USA; I think of Nashville as my second home and I am lucky to have made some amazing friends in Tennessee. Think Country is something I am very proud of, I just want to share my love and passion of all things country music related with you all.
