Nashville Meets London – Country Music River Cruise River Thames

Nashville Meets London (NML) has announced the return of the NML Country Music River Cruise, with support from PizzaExpress Live!, to be held on August 19. Set to voyage down England’s longest river, River Thames, the NML River Cruise will feature acoustic performances by several soon-to-be-announced artists, a set by DJ Hish, and hosting by Absolute Radio Country presenter Matt Spracklen.

Tickets to this exclusive event are extremely limited and will be available for £45 per person. An early-bird rate of £40 will be offered to the first 30 customers. Limited VIP table packages for eight people are also available at £560.  Tickets can be purchased at https://www.pizzaexpresslive.com.

Friends of NML will come together to remember Buck N’ Bull Founder Max Thompson, who passed away in September 2021.  Thompson was a partner in the NML and Buck N’ Bull Southern Fridays Boat Cruise, launched in 2018.  Since its formation, the event has sold out and continues to be one of NML’s popular events.

Absolute Radio presenter and NML host Matt Spracklen comments, “We’re announcing this event with our dear friend Max at the forefront of our minds. He was the life and soul of the river cruise, having partnered with NML since the very first one. I’m so glad that myself and Hish will be on board to celebrate him once again.”

The boat will embark at Bankside Pier at 18:45 and depart at 19:00.  Live performances will kick-off at 20:00, with DJ Hish kicking off his set at 21:00.  The boat disembarks at 23:00.

Other upcoming NML shows include the NML Presents! monthly series, currently scheduled for March 30, April 27, May 25, June 29, and July 27. Hi, I’m Annette, I have been a huge country music fan since the early 90s those were the days we were lucky enough to have CMT in the UK. I enjoy nothing more than listening to country music whilst having a cold beer (or a moonshine) with friends. I try to as many gigs as I can here in the UK and in the USA; I think of Nashville as my second home and I am lucky to have made some amazing friends in Tennessee. Think Country is something I am very proud of, I just want to share my love and passion of all things country music related with you all.
