Dallas Remington has released her long-awaited highly anticipated single, “Princess.” The single is proving to be a fun and sassy favorite of her fans. “Princess” is available on all digital platforms. It can be downloaded here.
“Princess” is co-written by Dallas along with two of her favorite songwriters, Bridgette Tatum and Nancy Deckant. The new single was produced engineered and mixed by Eric Torres at The Couch Room Studio in Nashville. “Princess” was released to radio via PlayMPE and promoted by Jennifer Blair (MusicRow) and Doc Gonzeles (Indicator/Activator.)
“Out of all the songs in my live set, it is the one I look forward to playing the most” exclaims Dallas Remington. The inspiration behind the song came from the Royal Wedding back in 2018 when Bridgette Tatum commented “You ain’t a princess until you marry a prince,” and from there “Princess” was born. This song is about a girl who wants to be something she is not instead of embracing the life she already has. “If there is anything I’d want my fans to take away from it is to love who you are, where you come from, and know that no matter what someone loves you for YOU.” states Dallas.
Dallas Remington is a songwriter and recording artist. She was born in Kentucky and is from a farming family. Dallas started performing in Nashville at age 11 and moved to Nashville by the age of 15. Dallas has a passion for life, music, and her faith. Dallas’s fiery verve and vigor come to life in every performance. “Singing will always be a part of me. Whether I’m singing at church, on the street, on a flatbed trailer, or somewhere in Nashville, I love every minute.” she quips. Dallas has been on the Music Row Breakout Charts with her original songs “Found Her Freedom” and “Never Turned Around,” “Boy In A Band,” and “Huntin Season.” Dallas’s song “Uncommon Man” is currently released on the radio and is dedicated to her father as well as all of the essential workers during the Covid-19 pandemic. Dallas and her band closed out the 2020 Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo just a few days before the Covid shutdown. Dallas has live shows booked in Kentucky, Montana, Missouri, and Oklahoma for this year. She is excited to get back on the road. Dallas also loves to perform traditional country songs from artists such as Johnny Cash and Dolly Parton, in addition to southern gospel and classic rock songs.
