After Taylor Swift released her new album folklore, rising star Alyssa Trahan recorded a beautiful piano cover of “cardigan.” By placing this song on the piano, Trahan adds her own artistic twist, complimenting the original. With her vocals shining throughout, she is poised to impress Swift and her fans everywhere.

“As soon as I heard this song, I knew I had to cover it. It’s such a beautiful song and Taylor has had a huge impact on me as an artist. I wanted to do a stripped-down version on the piano to really let the lyrics shine through because as a songwriter, I think these are some of Taylor’s best lyrics she’s ever written,” says Trahan.

Trahan recently released her newest single, “Ain’t Ever Goin’ Back.” Exclusively premiered by Guitar Girl Magazine, they call her “a force to be reckoned with and a killer guitarist as well.” It was also featured in NYCountry Swag’s New Country Music playlist on Spotify  Not only that, she was also the Featured Artist of June with Breedlove Guitars.
