The Hobbs Sisters Release New Single “Turn It Up” & Announce Debut Album

The Hobbs Sisters, also known as Lauren and Hannah have released a new single. It is titled “Turn It Up” and will be featured on their debut album sharing the same title as the new single. The album, Turn It Up, will be released on July 23, 2021.  Listen to “Turn it Up” here!

“Turn It Up” the new single is a carefree summer song that highlights the sisters’ harmonies along with an upbeat melody. “We wrote ‘Turn It Up’ because we wanted to capture the energy of a live show. As the title track of the album, it not only describes the magic of a live concert but also invites the listener to come and enjoy the ride with us. We are so excited to share this song with everyone!” says the sisters. This single follows their previous singles “Starting Fires” and “What If It Was” which were featured in The Boot, Sounds Like Nashville, and American Songwriter. The goal of the album Turn It Up it to recreate the magic of a live concert. The track listing is as follows for the upcoming album.

Lauren and Hannah Hobbs grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. They credit their grandfather and church with forming their interest in music. The sisters’ grandfather, Pappaw John, first exposed them to country music and playing the guitar. They now live in Nashville and continue to build their fan base by performing at various fairs, festivals, and venues. They have opened for national acts like Lady A, Charlie Daniels and Brett Eldredge. Their harmony-driven original songs and unique interpretations of country covers are causing the sisters to make a name for themselves on the country music scene.
