Following on from the success of her debut single “I’m Not Pretty” which went to number 1 on the UK country iTunes chart back in September, North Welsh songstress Shannon Hynes releases the eagerly anticipated follow up single “Someone to Drink With” on Thursday 20th December 2018.
The song is the first ballad to be released by Shannon but like her first single exposes her honest lyrics and natural vocal sound once again. A song showing the vulnerability and feelings of isolation when moving to a big city which I am sure many songwriters in Nashville and generally people everywhere can really relate to.
Someone to Drink With is released Thursday 20th December and available for pre order on iTunes here right now, also it will also be available to stream on Spotify.
Shannon has upcoming London dates in the New Year starting with a show at the fabulous Half Moon in Putney on Monday 7th January (https://tickets.halfmoon.co.uk/events/2019-01-07-new-moon-a-night-of-new-music-half-moon-putney) then hosts a showcase for Belles and Gals also featuring fellow up and coming UK female artists Roisin O’Hagan, Becky Lawrence and Joey Clarkson at The Water Rats in Kings Cross on Sunday 24th February (https://www.wegottickets.com/event/457748) before a show in the North West supporting our good friend Jade Helliwell at Gullivers in Manchester on April 19th(https://www.ticketweb.uk/event/jade-helliwell-gullivers-tickets/8904825.
