Sam Outlaw is a singer-songwriter living in Nashville, TN.  Born Samuel Morgan in South Dakota, his stage name comes from his late mother’s maiden name.

Working as an advertising executive in his twenties, he performed small bar gigs near his home in Los Angeles starting in 2009 but kept his marketing career until 2015 – when he finally left his job to become a full-time musician. Turns out that was a good decision.

At age 33, Sam released his debut album “Angeleno” in 2015. Produced by Ry Cooder and Joachim Cooder, “Angeleno” introduced Sam as a distinctly assured voice in the Country and Americana scene. The album garnered awards and critical acclaim from Rolling Stone, American Songwriter, NPR and countless others. His follow-up album, “Tenderheart,” gave Outlaw his first foray into self-producing and further evolved his “SoCal Country” sound by introducing more elements of Pop and Rock music. Also a critical success, “Tenderheart” was heralded as one of the year’s best country albums, supported by a full tour of North America and dozens of shows in Europe.

Sam recently moved his wife and kids from LA to Nashville to seek a better environment for raising their two small children.

Following the move he made his Grand Ole Opry debut on May 3rd – the same day as the “surprise” release of his new EP. Dubbed “Hat Acts”, the EP is a concept album that weaves together three songs and three skits to create a surrealist storyline of honky-tonk drama.

With more new music coming soon, Outlaw will embark on a European tour in the Fall, followed by shows across North America.

Collaborating with writers and producers in Nashville and in the UK, her “home away from home,” Iowa native Sarah Darling has developed a distinct and contemporary sound that fuses her own personal blend of US country with UK country/pop influences. Her newest album, Wonderland, released on June 7th and reached #1 on the UK Official Country Albums chart. Darling’s dedicated fan base has followed her closely since her earlier albums, Every Monday Morning and Angels & Devils, as well as Home to Me, a four song EP that included her breakout single, the title track “Home to Me.” Featured on SiriusXM’s The Highway, “Home to Me” became the top-selling digital single from a new female artist that year. She has become a fan favorite, noted for her “stunning ballads,” and “angelic vocals.” Darling’s Dream Country album, released globally in early 2017, marked her official launch into the UK country scene. Dream Country reached the number 2 spot on the iTunes UK country charts and led to a nomination for “International Artist of The Year” by the British Country Music Awards. With the support of mainstays Radio Disney Country, Spotify, Apple Music, Bob Harris’ Under The Apple Tree, Chris Country and many others, Sarah continues to attract new followers.

Sarah has been on the road, generating excitement for her trans-Atlantic sound among ever larger audiences. She has been touring across both the US and UK, performing over 70 dates in the 2018. Following performances at C2C London and Berlin, Sarah performed her largest UK headline tour yet in March 2019 and will be a featured artist at several country music festivals over the summer.

Darling has over 13 million streams on Spotify and Apple Music, has appeared on the Grand Ole Opry over 95 times, and has made appearances on BBC ONE’s Good Morning Sunday, ITV Weekend, Total Country, Fox and Friends, CNN, The Bachelor, and AXS and more. Darling partnered with the state of Wyoming to create a video “Where Cowboys Ride” that was featured on CMT as well as on the Wyoming tourism website.

Annette Gibbons
Hi, I’m Annette, I have been a huge country music fan since the early 90s those were the days we were lucky enough to have CMT in the UK. I enjoy nothing more than listening to country music whilst having a cold beer (or a moonshine) with friends. I try to as many gigs as I can here in the UK and in the USA; I think of Nashville as my second home and I am lucky to have made some amazing friends in Tennessee. Think Country is something I am very proud of, I just want to share my love and passion of all things country music related with you all.
