Fans of Old Dominion will have already marked 25th October in their diaries , the release date for the Nashville based band’s highly anticipated and self- titled third album.
Three of its tracks “ Make It Sweet” , “ One Man Band” and “ Never Be Sorry” have already been released to whet our appetites, and now in conjunction with the album pre-order they have made the track “ My Heart Is A Bar” available. The band’s frontman Matthew Ramsay describes this latest song as being ” about feeling alone and used and pissed of at love “ ……yes, once again Old Dominion have come up with something that a lot of us can relate to! I love how the track builds from a stripped back piano accompaniment at the start, and just listen to those gorgeous trademark harmonies.
The new album once again sees Shane McAnally at the helm as producer, and he also has had a hand in co-writing several of the eleven tracks including this latest release
