Nicole Marden in conjunction with Fierce & Fabulous Revolution has released the video for her latest single, “Obsession.” The song is available on all digital platforms.
The video was filmed in Los Angeles and is directed by Nashville videographer Rachel Deeb, who has worked in the past with Maren Morris and Kelsea Ballerini. Rachel is from California and was home from Nashville and the two were able to work out getting the video filmed. Nicole’s band is featured in the video which was filmed during the pandemic. Nicole recalls the stress of having to worry about whether the shoot would happen due to the shutdown due to the pandemic. Nicole could not wait for the video to be released as she is proud of how it turned out.
Nicole Marden described “Obsession” as “that feeling you get when you aren’t quite ready to date seriously after a heartbreak, but miss those butterflies from a new crush. “It’s also about letting go of resentment of love not going your way and just having a little fun without the pressure of expectations.”

Nicole is from a small town in Northern California. She released her first self-titled EP in 2018. She started by diving headfirst into songwriting. Nicole then spent years developing her voice and guitar playing. Nicole feels music is a form of therapy. She feels music can be “a soundtrack to the stories of others.” Nicole wants to be an inspiration through her music to other women no matter their age to practice self-love and follow their passions regardless of social norms. Nicole could not imagine her life without a dog as she is an avid animal lover.
