Manny Blu Releases New Single ” Train”

With his first single release of 2021, “ Train”,  exciting new Nashville artist Manny Blu gives us a hint of what to expect from his upcoming EP due later this year. Manny’s “ country punk” approach, mindset and diverse sound brings a new dimension and attitude to the genre, which this latest single demonstrates perfectly.

Produced by Aaron Eshuis ( Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd, Cole Swindell) and co-written by hit songwriters Jessi Alexander, Ryan Beaver and JT Harding, the song’s uptempo, energetic arrangement grabs the listener’s attention from the very beginning. Lyrically, it hears him plea to a significant other to “ hit me like a train” with love and affection. Commenting on the track, and what lies ahead from him musically, Manny says “ ‘Train’ was the perfect song to put out once I announced that 2021 is the birth year of ‘ Country Punk’.

Not every song I put out will have a super present punk influence, but ‘Train’ does “ He continues “ Its exactly how I wanted to start off the very busy year of releases we have planned”.

A music video for the single is set to be unveiled on Aril 23rd. Listen to ‘Train’ here.

The former hockey player, MMA fighter and native Canadian continues to develop and mould his unique take on country music which he introduced via his 2019 debut EP “ Leave It Like It Is” .  Last year was a landmark one for him, despite all the difficulties faced by artists, and saw him expanding his team to an international level. He released second EP  “ New Ink”, its lead single ‘Born To Ride’ reaching over 360k views on YouTube and surpassing 1M streams worldwide. Known for his dynamic live performances, Manny and his band wanted to recreate the energy of live shows and earlier this year he launched his live performance series “ Live and Turned Up” on his Official YouTube page which you can follow here  https://www.youtube.com/MannyBluMusic.
