Lady Antebellum – What If I Never Get Over You

When you can remember the moment you first heard a song and felt that instant connection you know its going to be a song that will hold a special place in your heart/life for years to come. Flashback 2 months back to a packed O2 arena on a Saturday night, UK fans were treated to a new song Lady Antebellum had been working on and wanted to try it out on a new audience to get a true feel of the reaction it may get and a verdict on the song they had just recently written.

With the atmosphere electric due to the excitement of Lady A showcasing a new song to their fans, they instantly captivated the audience and me included with this beautifully written masterpiece about heartbreak! In that moment it instantly took me and probably the whole of the arena back ten years to when Lady A showcased Need You Now for the first time. Ever since that day I and many fans have been eagerly awaiting the release and it has now finally been released for the whole worlds ears to be blessed! There are not many songs I would play on repeat a gazzilion times on release day but I have made the exception for this and judging by social media everyone has had the same idea.

The heartbreaking ballad that has stole everyone’s hearts this weekend is the first release on Lady A’s new label, Big Machine, and its no surprise its expected to be as huge as Need You Now! It also didnt come as a huge surprise that the incredibly talented Ryan Hurd and Laura Veltz helped write the lyrical masterpiece! Everything about this song is perfection and if you havent blessed your ears with it, what are you waiting for? You will thank me later!

Hi, I’m Annette, I have been a huge country music fan since the early 90s those were the days we were lucky enough to have CMT in the UK. I enjoy nothing more than listening to country music whilst having a cold beer (or a moonshine) with friends. I try to as many gigs as I can here in the UK and in the USA; I think of Nashville as my second home and I am lucky to have made some amazing friends in Tennessee. Think Country is something I am very proud of, I just want to share my love and passion of all things country music related with you all.
