Lady Antebellum

Lady Antebellum are finally back with new music, they last released an album in 2014. Was the 3 year wait worth it, I hear you ask?  Of course it was!

Some stand out tracks on this 13 track album for me are:

Heartbreak, the title track is first up in the track listing, Hillary takes the lead vocal in this up tempo song with a summery, dreamy feel too it.

Lady A’s first single from the record You Look Good is up next, co-written by Ryan Hurd and released in January 2017 was a perfect song to get us excited for this album.

This City is a catchy sing along tune with perfect harmonies from Hillary and Charles, one of my favourite songs.

Hurt is a beautiful song, almost haunting with Hillary’s vocal when she does her solo parts, goosebumps galore on this track!

Think About You has a gospel feel too it, with Charles taking the lead on this song, takes me to church and back again.

Home is a typical Lady Antebellum song and there aint nothin’ wrong with that, it’s one of the things I love about this group, they know the sound their fans love, they mix it up but they’ll always bring it right back to the beautiful harmonies and melody.

Lady Antebellum are back in the UK for a tour in the Autumn and I’m sure they will do some of their hits along with many from the new record, this tour will be one not to miss!  They put on a fantastic show! Tickets are already on sale, what are you waiting for?!?

Annette Gibbons
Hi, I’m Annette, I have been a huge country music fan since the early 90s those were the days we were lucky enough to have CMT in the UK. I enjoy nothing more than listening to country music whilst having a cold beer (or a moonshine) with friends. I try to as many gigs as I can here in the UK and in the USA; I think of Nashville as my second home and I am lucky to have made some amazing friends in Tennessee. Think Country is something I am very proud of, I just want to share my love and passion of all things country music related with you all.
