Am I looking forward to Country to Country music festival ?

Hell, yes I am! Every year gets better than the last. I know more friends, listened to more music, learnt about new artists, rediscovered old favourites. Last year I had a ball, non stop laughter, dancing and general merriment.

I gambled on some acts staying over after C2C and lucked out with Sir Rosevelt and Brothers Osborne. Every year there’s one artist or group I love; Kip Moore, Eric Church, last year Drake White and this year, to nobody’s surprise it’s Midland.

They will be my highlight albeit they’ll only get 45 minutes. The line up really highlights the changes in country music at the moment, less bro Country and more Americana.

I’m really looking forward to seeing Lucas Nelson, his album is stunning. I think he will be this years Chris Stapleton. I’ve not seen Tim McGraw before so I’m excited to see him and Faith. We are lucky with the line up, each year there’s the usual moaners about the headliners but each time they pull out the artists winning the CMAs, the Grammys etc.

I’m staying over until the Wednesday in vain hope that there will be a solo gig by Midland.

Hi, I’m Annette, I have been a huge country music fan since the early 90s those were the days we were lucky enough to have CMT in the UK. I enjoy nothing more than listening to country music whilst having a cold beer (or a moonshine) with friends. I try to as many gigs as I can here in the UK and in the USA; I think of Nashville as my second home and I am lucky to have made some amazing friends in Tennessee. Think Country is something I am very proud of, I just want to share my love and passion of all things country music related with you all.
