JoLivi

Listening to the this 3 song Ep, titled, “Raw” dropped from JoLivi, you can hear the Hawaiian influence that She brings to each of her songs. Soft, exact, mellow, and inspiring. The minute I tuned into the EP, it captured me. JoLivi has a smooth and honest sound to her vocals, which is appreciated on an acoustic styled set. This is especially noted with the song “Move On”. JoLivi’s  guitar playing is pure and simple, yet captivating. Each song on the EP is a ballad with a specific message, almost giving her time to heal broken hearts and relationships. This seems to give JoLivi and the listener, permission to mend the past, Love that!

“Thanks to All my Exes”  expresses sadness that Jolivi and women have been through from break ups. The reaction to a break up and the forgiveness that every gal finally comes to realize and understand about the situation. Perfect scenario.

“Vinyl” is little more than just an Acoustical song. It has an upbeat tempo, more so than the other songs on the EP. It has a coffee house, open jam feel, which are sometimes the best songs, with the greatest messages. ”I’m Vinyl, like a needle touch my groove”, I think this will be an all time classic line to a song that everyone will recognize down the road.

JoLivi, is now on my set list to listen to when needing a good, solid, vibe. She is strong in vocals, which is fantastic, sounds like Girl Power!! Watch out for this one, she has style and flair, and sophisticated harmonies!!

Hi, I’m Annette, I have been a huge country music fan since the early 90s those were the days we were lucky enough to have CMT in the UK. I enjoy nothing more than listening to country music whilst having a cold beer (or a moonshine) with friends. I try to as many gigs as I can here in the UK and in the USA; I think of Nashville as my second home and I am lucky to have made some amazing friends in Tennessee. Think Country is something I am very proud of, I just want to share my love and passion of all things country music related with you all.
