As previously announced via CelebMix, rising singer-songwriter Taylor Goyette releases new single Mermaids & Pirates on all digital platforms today (April 24th) which you can check out HERE.

“I’m a Florida kid, I grew up on the beach and in the water. I wrote Mermaids & Pirates cause I just want to escape back to that some days. Think of this song as a mental vacation,” explains Taylor. “I grew up on the gulf coast of Florida, so naturally the beach is home. Living in a fast-moving city like Nashville is great, but on those cold winter days, it’s easy to dream about sitting in the sand somewhere with a drink in my hand. Mermaids & Pirates is that dream. It’s meant to be a whimsical escape from reality and also a great tune to put on your summertime playlist.”

It was quickly obvious to everyone he encountered that Taylor had brought that work ethic with him when he moved to Nashville, paying his dues with a smile as he relentlessly made the rounds through writers rooms and the local stages – ultimately catching the attention of Trey Bruce (Emmy winning songwriter; discovered/signed Chris Janson and Brothers Osbourne) who signed Taylor to a management deal with his company GaloreMGMT in the Fall of 2018.
