Crown Royal and ACM Team Up for Two Great Causes

Crown Royal once again partnered with the Academy of Country Music to pack bags for The Crown Royal Purple Bag Project.  ACM nominated artists and country music stars were in Nashville this weekend packing the purple bags.  Fans were also able to participate at home during the ACM Awards Pre-Party for a Cause.

These care packages are packed with essentials for American military heroes. The bags also contain handwritten notes for the military heroes from the country stars.  Some of the stars that helped this year were Darius Rucker, Ashley McBryde, Luke Combs, Charles Kelly, and Dave Haywood both of Lady A.   Also writing a special note was Female Artist of the Year Maren Morris and her husband fellow artist Ryan Hurd. Crown Royal donated $1 to Packages from Home for every bag packed this weekend.  The goal was to pack 20,000 bags for a total of $20,000. During the Pre-Party for a Cause, country music fans were able to participate from home by virtually packing bags to help reach the goal during the pre-show. Also, Crown Royal donated an additional $20,000 to ACM Lifting Lives.  The ACM Lifting Lives program provides grants to those in need in the country music community that has been negatively affected by COVID-19.
