Nate Smith is a singer/songwriter from Paradise, California. He released his first song “Wildfire”, in June 2019. The song went viral on TikTok. “Wildfire” was inspired by the wildfires in California. His hometown was destroyed by a fire in 2018. Nate’s home was one of the ones destroyed, he moved in with his father, and during this time Smith says “country music discovered me”. “Wildfire”, was a way for him to heal from the experience. The song exploded and generated more than 15 million streams worldwide. His latest single “Sleeve” is available now on all streaming platforms. Smith has signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA). Smith is managed by Kevin Zaruk, a veteran music manager, and Simon Tikham, a business investor who are cofounders of The Core Entertainment.
Nate Smith’s love of music started in elementary school where he would perform in the school musicals. During high school he was in garage bands, all the while honing his craft. Nate was influenced by a varied group of artists including Elvis, Garth Brooks, Bob Seger, Tom Petty and Fleetwood Mac. Smith credits his time as a worship leader to be his biggest musical inspiration.
