Country Superstars Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, Jordan Davis & Florida Georgia Line join an all-star cast to contribute to Julia Michaels & JP Saxe’s version of “If The World Was Ending” to support Doctors Without Borders!

Toronto-born acclaimed singer-songwriter JP Saxe and GRAMMY® Award-nominated artist Julia Michaels today released a new video of their heart-rending duet, “If The World Was Ending,” to help support the international medical humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in its global response to COVID-19. MSF is caring for patients suffering from COVID-19, offering health education and mental health support, and providing training for vital infection control measures in health facilities around the world. JP, Julia, and Sony Music Entertainment will donate all proceeds from the video to Doctors Without Borders.

The video features country superstars: Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, Jordan Davis and Florida Georgia Line in addition to Europe’s own Anne-Marie, Niall Horan, Sam Smith and Zara Larsson along with many more. The video also features five-time GRAMMY® Award-winner and producer of “If The World Was Ending,” FINNEAS. The song was originally written by JP and Julia following devastating earthquakes in Los Angeles last July. In the wake of the current global pandemic, the song’s powerfully relevant message resonated with both artists and their fans across the globe.

Say JP and Julia: “We are so grateful for the incredible work being done by those on the frontlines during this global pandemic. We asked some of our friends to sing this song with us to help benefit an organization very close to our hearts, Doctors Without Borders, where all proceeds received by Sony Music and the artists from the video will be donated. At a time when it can sometimes feel like ‘the world is ending,’ we thank all of the healthcare workers, first responders, and essential workers who are helping so many people in need. Please stay home, stay safe (and don’t actually go over!).”

Below is the full list of artists featured in the video (in order of appearance):

How is MSF responding to COVID-19?

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) teams are responding to COVID-19 on multiple fronts – caring for patients, offering health education and mental health support, and providing training for vital infection control measures in health facilities around the world. MSF’s response to COVID-19 is evolving rapidly. MSF is opening new projects in response to COVID-19 and adapting existing ones to help cope when cases are identified.

As MSF scales up its response to the COVID-19 pandemic, a key priority is to keep its more than 400 medical programs running for the tens of thousands of patients and extremely vulnerable communities they help support. This pandemic threatens the lives of people around the world, and presents even greater risks in countries with weak or fragile health systems.

Hi, I’m Annette, I have been a huge country music fan since the early 90s those were the days we were lucky enough to have CMT in the UK. I enjoy nothing more than listening to country music whilst having a cold beer (or a moonshine) with friends. I try to as many gigs as I can here in the UK and in the USA; I think of Nashville as my second home and I am lucky to have made some amazing friends in Tennessee. Think Country is something I am very proud of, I just want to share my love and passion of all things country music related with you all.
