Chris Lane Releases New Single/Video ” Summer Job Money”

It’s not a bad time to be a fan of Big Loud Records’ Chris Lane. Hot on the heels ( no pun intended!) of his recent single release “ Fill Them Boots” the multi-platinum artist has dropped another new song in the shape of the feel-good jam ” Summer Job Money” . Teasing “ to be continued “ at the end of the previous single’s video which told the story of love being ignited thanks to a summer fling, little did we expect how soon that would happen but no one here at Think Country is complaining for sure and the OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO  for “ Summer Job Money” continues the story.

Penned by John Byron and Blake Pendergrass the song itself is a tribute to a priceless kind of attraction, and at it’s core is a certain nostalgic charm ….it’s worth spending your entire “ summer job money” in the name of romance. Produced by studio ace Joey Moi, it is absolutely brimming with upbeat acoustic energy.  “

I’ve always loved nostalgic country songs that take you back to a certain time” shares Lane. “ When I first heard ‘ Summer Job Money ‘ it immediately gave me that same feeling . I worked a landscaping job up until the very moment I signed my record deal, so I released to the song and knew I wanted to record it”. Look out for more new music to come from Lane, who will be out on the road again with his high-energy show beginning this summer before joining Kane Brown for The Worldwide Beautiful Tour remaining stops in September. But his priority must surely be the imminent arrival of his baby boy, as he and his wife Lauren prepare to become parents for the first time this spring.
