C2C 2020 Main Stage Introductions: Luke Combs

He is one of the biggest names in country music right now with 7 consecutive number one songs including ‘Hurricane’, ‘When It Rains It Pours’, ‘Beautiful Crazy’ and ‘Even Though I’m Leaving’ from his first 2 number one albums ‘This One’s For You’ and ‘What You See Is What You Get’ so it is no surprise that North Carolina native Luke Combs has had UK fans eagerly awaiting his return to C2C Country to Country where this year he will close the main stage in London.

Since his last visit to the UK and we caught up with Luke (HERE) in October 2018 which included 2 sold out shows at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire, his meteoric rise has continued to now being right at the top of wish lists for fans and promoters alike in the United States. Last year he was nominated for Best New Artist at the Grammy’s, was inducted by Vince Gill and Joe Diffie to become the 211th Member of the Grand Ole Opry and followed up his 2018 CMA New Artist of the Year win with Male Vocalist of the Year and Song of the Year for ‘Beautiful Crazy’ at last years awards.

Off the back of his second number one record ‘What You See Is What You Get’ Combs has a busy year touring the record where he will be joined on the road by Ashley McBryde and Drew Parker which further information can be found on his website. After last year joining with Brooks and Dunn to record ‘Brand New Man’ which became the lead single from the duo’s ‘Reboot’ record where they re-imagined their back catalogue collaborating with the next generation of Nashville superstars, in 2020 Combs is set to team up with another legend of the genre and C2C alumni Tim McGraw for September dates in Los Angeles and Philadelphia.

Luke Combs plays the main stage at C2C Country to Country in Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Glasgow and Dublin. You can keep up to date with Luke and find out all about his upcoming tour plans on his website and socials:

Hi, I’m Annette, I have been a huge country music fan since the early 90s those were the days we were lucky enough to have CMT in the UK. I enjoy nothing more than listening to country music whilst having a cold beer (or a moonshine) with friends. I try to as many gigs as I can here in the UK and in the USA; I think of Nashville as my second home and I am lucky to have made some amazing friends in Tennessee. Think Country is something I am very proud of, I just want to share my love and passion of all things country music related with you all.
