C2C 2020 Main Stage Introductions: Darius Rucker

A real veteran of the Country to Country stage who has been a part of the festival since it’s inception appearing at the first occurrence in 2013 then again in 2017 but now Darius Rucker returns to the main stage for the third time this year to headline the festival.

The 3 time Grammy Award winner and member of the Grand Ole Opry has 8 number one songs in Nashville first shot to fame as the lead singer of multi platinum Rock band Hootie & the Blowfish who originally formed in 1986 and their debut full length release ‘Cracked Rear View’ is one of the 20 biggest albums of all time in the United States.

A man who always brings an electric live show pulsating with energy with an array of hits spanning 6 studio albums of his own in addition to the extensive Hootie & the Blowfish back catalogue is well deserving of his ascension to headline the festival. Hi, I’m Annette, I have been a huge country music fan since the early 90s those were the days we were lucky enough to have CMT in the UK. I enjoy nothing more than listening to country music whilst having a cold beer (or a moonshine) with friends. I try to as many gigs as I can here in the UK and in the USA; I think of Nashville as my second home and I am lucky to have made some amazing friends in Tennessee. Think Country is something I am very proud of, I just want to share my love and passion of all things country music related with you all.
