Louisiana native Willie Jones is one of Nashville’s rising stars and was one of the most talked about artists at last years Country Music Week and during his UK shows with Michael Ray. Bringing a fresh take on country music from being heavily influenced by rap, pop and hip hop music Jones is an out and out entertainer that has the ability to really get a crowd going with his energy on stage and smooth vocals that magically bring a lot of elements together to create an infectious brand of country as demonstrated with his party anthem ‘Bachelorettes on Broadway’ and most recent single ‘Whole Lotta Love’
2020 is looking set to be a huge breakout year for him with lots of new music on the horizon. Willie’s latest release ‘Whole Lotta Love’ (listen HERE) was released just prior to his trip over in October last year where we caught up with him (HERE) during Country Music Week but since them he has joined with another regular visit to these shores Logan Mize to collaborate on Mize’s latest single “I Ain’t Gotta Grow Up” which you can find HERE.
The guy just oozes cool and knows how to get every party started so is an absolutely perfect choice for playing at the festivals Aftershow parties and will pleasantly surprise a lot of fans of a more traditional country sound when he can showcase his vocals in the stripped back setting when he appears in the arena on the Spotlight Stage where we are sure this upcoming third visit to the UK will result in more regular trips as his fanbase will definitely grow even faster over here as he well and truly represents the future of country music.
Willie Jones returns to Europe in March for C2C Country to Country where he will appear on the Spotlight Stage inside the Main Arena in Glasgow on Friday 13th March, before playing the separate ticketed Official Aftershow party later that evening. (Tickets available HERE) He also appears in London on Sunday 15th March on the Spotlight Stage, BBC Radio 2 Stage in the Indigo and will close out the entire festival performing at the Official Aftershow party (which again is a separate ticket and you can find tickets and information HERE) in addition to performing at the festival in Berlin and Amsterdam. You can find all his upcoming tour news and keep up to date with Willie on his website and socials:
