C2C 2020 Artist Introductions: Twinnie

One of the most lively and energetic performers that has become a trailblazer and figurehead for the genre on this side of the Atlantic, Twinnie returns to Country to Country for the fourth time where she plays in the main arena for the first time on the Spotlight Stage and also is returning to the festival in Berlin. She is one of the most sought after acts for festivals and events in the UK where she has appeared at The Long Road, Nashville Meets London, The British Country Music Festival and Cornbury in addition to being on the road with the likes of Chase Rice, Kiefer Sutherland, Logan Mize, Lauren Alaina, Kristian Bush and being part of the first CMT Next Women of Country Tour to the UK with Cassadee Pope and Logan Brill.

Since her arrival on the scene she has been a regular in conversations regarding the key players in the rapid growth of country music in the UK and has been teasing a long awaited first full record off the back of a number of catchy singles and her ‘Better When I’m Drunk’ EP last year. Her debut length album which features lead track and latest single ‘Type of Girl’ will be released on April 17th through BMG and you can Pre-Order ‘Hollywood Gypsy’ HERE whilst she also shared another bonus new track ‘Cupid’ on Valentines Day (Listen HERE).

Twinnie is an artist that gives it her all and definitely what you see is what you get with this lively and honest Yorkshire lass which is why she has quickly captivated audiences to show she is not just an actress that has turned to music following initially being best known for her role on Hollyoaks but has become a firm favourite for audiences here and is easily one of the leading female artists paving the way for others hence why there is a great sense of anticipation for her debut album.

Twinnie plays at this years C2C Country to Country where she will appear in London on the Spotlight Stage inside the Main Arena on Saturday March 14th and the Country Music Week Hub in All Bar One over the weekend in addition to performing at the festival in Berlin. Hi, I’m Annette, I have been a huge country music fan since the early 90s those were the days we were lucky enough to have CMT in the UK. I enjoy nothing more than listening to country music whilst having a cold beer (or a moonshine) with friends. I try to as many gigs as I can here in the UK and in the USA; I think of Nashville as my second home and I am lucky to have made some amazing friends in Tennessee. Think Country is something I am very proud of, I just want to share my love and passion of all things country music related with you all.
