C2C 2020 Artist Introductions: Caylee Hammack

One of the most dynamic rising stars in music city with one of the most raw, honest crafts as a songwriter that majestically get brought to life through one of the most distinct and powerful voices in country music right now! Caylee Hammack is set to make her first European appearance at this years Country to Country Festival and brings with her one of the most incredible journeys into the spotlight! She left South Georgia for Nashville at 19 where she initially began sleeping in the back of her car armed with bags of clothes, her high school diploma and a Fake ID that made her 23 in Florida. With this she found her way into a bar, got herself on stage with the band playing at the time and later found herself with a job performing in bars on Lower Broadway for around 2 and a half years before she earned herself a record deal.

Initial attention came her way with her debut release ‘Family Tree’ which hit the top 40 in the US and gives a reflection of how everyone’s family has there flaws but you wouldn’t change anything about them. Further songs ‘Just Friends’ and ‘Preciatcha’ have also been shared whilst her latest release ‘Small Town Hypocrite’ is more emotional ballad that exposes her vulnerable side which really showcases the blissful vocals of the Georgia native in a really relatable story which is available HERE through Capitol Nashville.

Named by Bobby Bones in his Class of 2019 and in the most recent intake of CMT’s Next Women of Country for 2020 which also includes fellow C2C debutantes Kylie Morgan and Gabby Barrett, this is set to be a huge year for Caylee as she joins Reba and Luke Bryan on their tour dates through 2020 whilst there is a lot of anticipation about upcoming further releases which many hope will include an extended release.

With an honest, upfront and highly relatable outlook on life, Hammack is sure to be one of the standout performers at this years C2C and an artist that UK fans will definitely relate to and be fascinated by with her depth as a storyteller, personality and her incredible voice. She is no stranger to big stages having played shows with the likes of Eric Church, Dierks Bentley, Trisha Yearwood, LANCO and as part of Miranda Lambert’s badass all female ‘Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars Tour’ along with Maren Morris, Tenille Townes, Pistol Annies, Elle King and Ashley McBryde all of whom are firm favourites to UK fans where we expect her to attract a new army of fans of her own just as easily.

Caylee Hammack heads over to Europe in March for C2C Country to Country where she will appear in London on the Spotlight Stage inside the Main Arena on Sunday 15th March, BBC Radio 2 Stage in the Indigo, at the Country Hits Radio Sessions at The Loft and the Town Square Stage over the weekend in addition to performing at the festival in Berlin and Amsterdam. Hi, I’m Annette, I have been a huge country music fan since the early 90s those were the days we were lucky enough to have CMT in the UK. I enjoy nothing more than listening to country music whilst having a cold beer (or a moonshine) with friends. I try to as many gigs as I can here in the UK and in the USA; I think of Nashville as my second home and I am lucky to have made some amazing friends in Tennessee. Think Country is something I am very proud of, I just want to share my love and passion of all things country music related with you all.
