Michael Hobby, Bill Stacher, Zach Brown and Graham DeLoach collectively as A Thousand Horses are one of the great purveyors of southern rock and a really gritty country sound who put out their debut EP almost a decade ago. They have been nominated at the ACM Awards, had their debut album ‘Southernality’ hit the top 5 and spurn platinum selling number 1 song ‘Smoke’ which was written by Hobby along with Jon Nite and Ross Copperman.
A full on, high intensity live show was first found at Country to Country back in 2016 on their debut appearance in the UK which included a wild night in the Brooklyn Bowl at the Official After-party has been followed by 2 further visits to these shores and now they return once more for their second appearance at the festival which includes another late night set in The Saloon upstairs in All Bar One where like all of their other performances in London and the European festival events is expected to be loud and as wild as ever!
Their latest single “Drinking Song” came out in January through Elektra Records / Low Country Sound which you can listen to HERE and follows on from “Livin’ My Best Life” released in October 2019 as the first new music from the band in over 2 years since their “Bridges” album back in 2017. They returned to the UK in November last year to play a special show at 229 in London, which was their first appearance here since the back end of 2016 where they had teased that new music was on the way and a full length release produced by Dave Cobb is expected in 2020 where we are definitely hoping that they will be sharing some more new music on their return to C2C Festival.
A Thousand Horses return to Europe in March for C2C Country to Country where they will appear in London at The Saloon in All Bar One on Saturday night plus on the BBC Radio 2 Stage in the Indigo and Town Square Stage over the weekend in addition to performing at the festival in Berlin and Amsterdam.
