Amie Knight – ‘Two Guys’

By Ben Rose

So, what have you got planned for September? I can tell you what upcoming country artist, Amie Knight, has planned. Friday 9th September, her debut single will be released! ‘Two Guys,’ a very modern, strong country song, will be partnered with an eye-catching music video!

The lyrics suggest a storyline in which one girl falls in love with a man, who is so misleading and confusing that it is like dating two guys. It’s a song about love and all the trouble that comes with it. What could be more country?

Amie Knight is ecstatic over her upcoming single, ‘Two Guys.’ Having written it back in October 2015, she had never envisaged it would come so far. “For my first single, I couldn’t be any happier!” she said, “It shows off who I am as an artist. It’s compelling, catchy and country!” In the song, you can hear Amie’s influences. With the powerful vocal line and Nashville style production, there’s a Carrie Underwood-esque feel to the song. Recorder and producer, Harrison Perks of HP Music, said, “It’s been a joy working with Amie! She was a complete professional in the studio, delivering a fantastic performance in just one take! It was a pleasure working on her song.”

‘Two Guys,’ Amie Knight’s debut single, will be coming out on iTunes, Spotify and available to buy at gigs. So, put Friday 9th September in your diaries, because Amie Knight will be jumping into the UK Country scene with a bang!

Hi, I’m Annette, I have been a huge country music fan since the early 90s those were the days we were lucky enough to have CMT in the UK. I enjoy nothing more than listening to country music whilst having a cold beer (or a moonshine) with friends. I try to as many gigs as I can here in the UK and in the USA; I think of Nashville as my second home and I am lucky to have made some amazing friends in Tennessee. Think Country is something I am very proud of, I just want to share my love and passion of all things country music related with you all.
