Talkin’ Country – Episode 2 with special guest Lucy Blu

We are back with our second instalment of Talkin’ Country where we bring you an entirely UK perspective whilst Patti has had a new arrival in the family over in Nashville so Jamie, Lorna and Lesley keep the ship sailing as they are joined by the lovely Lucy Blu, one of the finest and charismatic female vocalists in the UK Country Music scene to hear about her recent EP.

We had exciting new releases from My Darling Clementine, Tyler Farr, Eric Paslay, Allie Colleen, Willie Jones to discuss along with the incredibly powerful new single “Black Like Me” from Mickey Guyton and we talked about the impact of her music and went through the horrifying tragedy that resulted in the death of George Floyd and how we need to be more conscious about tackling prejudice and racism in society.

Make sure you like/follow/subscribe so you can join us every week on YouTube and Facebook.

Hi, I’m Annette, I have been a huge country music fan since the early 90s those were the days we were lucky enough to have CMT in the UK. I enjoy nothing more than listening to country music whilst having a cold beer (or a moonshine) with friends. I try to as many gigs as I can here in the UK and in the USA; I think of Nashville as my second home and I am lucky to have made some amazing friends in Tennessee. Think Country is something I am very proud of, I just want to share my love and passion of all things country music related with you all.
