Under The Bridge underneath Stamford Bridge, Chelsea, London; an unlikely venue for a country hoedown! However, on Friday 12th February the country scene came together along with top country DJ Baylen Leonard to knock back a few drinks and dance the night away to some party country hits.

Doors opened at 8pm with Baylen due to get behind the decks at 9pm so when I arrived at 8.30pm I expected it to be a little busier than it was! It soon filled up though and by the time Baylen had graced the stage, Under The Bridge was packed out with country fans who has no intention of an early night!

London has long been needing a country night where like minded fans can go and enjoy some of their favourite songs from their favourite artists and needless to say many of this years C2C alumni were played over the speakers throughout the night. From Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert and Alan Jackson through to some Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line and even some Shires there was sure to be something for everyone and if there is one thing Baylen Leonard knows how to do it is get a crowd going!

There wasn’t a gap on that dancefloor as it filled up quickly with some of the best boots you would have seen anywhere in London on a Friday night! There were around 300 tickets sold for the night and that crowd was easily there. Maybe even including a few extra faces!

For anyone not in London… Don’t worry! They already have plans for Glasgow, Manchester, Brighton, Birmingham, Newcastle and Bristol this year as well as another one in London in December for a big Xmas bash!

Hey all! I am a musician, photographer, writer whatever you name it. Jack of all master of none... Wait... I mean master of all... yep that's the one! Country music has been my beginning, middle and end (cheesy but true...) ever since i discovered it back in 2005 and to be involved with Think Country just means that I get to spend my time immersed in it. I have had the chance to meet a lot of incredible people through music and I am thankful to now call a lot of them friends. Keep your eye out for me because im always here, there and everywhere! In the UK or in Nashville you never know where I might pop up!
