Erica Stone tells about her amazing journey with her new Album, “Antidote”

Sometimes life doesn’t always move smoothly. There are bumps in the road, and for each one of us, the movements are different but the results are the same. That’s what Erica Stone is saying on her newly released Album, “Antidote”. Erica is not new to the music scene. She did however take a break for a while after her own life took a turn in another direction, and it led her down another path. Erica is back to tell the story, the journey, and the road she is taking now. Her song “Lies,” along with a newly released video, takes you along for the ride, you can feel it just like it happened. “I keep telling you lies and I don’t know why”. Maybe she was closing some doors that were too painful to open or let go. What a strong song this is, taking back a life that went in a direction that she did not expect. It has also led her back to her first passion, music, and with each experience in her life, she can tell you the process through her songs.

The lyrics in the song, “keeping you on the outside” and “You want inside my head”, are so perfect for each one of us, sometimes we just want to conquer the problem ourselves, and when we are ready, we will let you in and feel that emotion within us. I can’t wait to hear about the rest of Erica’s journey through her songs. Her next video to be released will be her song “Glasshouse”, I am waiting anxiously to continue the journey with her. It is all very relatable, no matter what road your own life takes you down.

Hi, I’m Annette, I have been a huge country music fan since the early 90s those were the days we were lucky enough to have CMT in the UK. I enjoy nothing more than listening to country music whilst having a cold beer (or a moonshine) with friends. I try to as many gigs as I can here in the UK and in the USA; I think of Nashville as my second home and I am lucky to have made some amazing friends in Tennessee. Think Country is something I am very proud of, I just want to share my love and passion of all things country music related with you all.
