She did however take a break for a while after her own life took a turn in another direction, and it led her down another path. Erica is back to tell the story, the journey, and the road she is taking now. Her song “Lies,” along with a newly released video, takes you along for the ride, you can feel it just like it happened. “I keep telling you lies and I don’t know why”. Maybe she was closing some doors that were too painful to open or let go. What a strong song this is, taking back a life that went in a direction that she did not expect. It has also led her back to her first passion, music, and with each experience in her life, she can tell you the process through her songs.
