Chase Rice and Florida Georgia Line team up on “Drinkin’ Beer. Talkin’God. Amen.”  for the first time in ten years.

Chase Rice is teaming up with Florida Georgia Line for his new single “Drinkin’ Beer. Talkin’God. Amen.”  The collaboration brings the artists together after ten years since working on FGL’s smash “Cruise”. The video for“Drinkin’ Beer. Talkin’God. Amen.” premiered on CMT.com, CMT Australia as well as the ViacomCBS billboard in New York City’s Times Square.  

Chase Rice continues to share new music with fans.  The Album Part I and The Album Part II were both released in 2020.  The Album Part III is due out later this year. He sees these album releases and “Drinkin’ Beer. Talkin’God. Amen.” as his sound evolving and becoming less inhibited. Chase teamed up with FGL who continue to be in-demand collaborators in Nashville. They continually change up their sound. They have recent releases with Nelly (“Lil Bit”), Russell Dickerson (“It’s About Time”), and the current single with Chase Rice “Drinkin’ Beer. Talkin’God. Amen.”.  

“Drinkin’ Beer. Talkin’God. Amen.” was written by Rice along with Hunter Phelps, Cale Dodds, and Corey Crowder. Written before the pandemic the song has become more relevant over this past year. The song’s lyrics celebrate not taking things for granted. “Drinkin’ Beer. Talkin’God. Amen.” is about slowing down to enjoy the important things in life. Rice had this to say about the timing of the song; “It’s almost like God was intervening in the song. The song is special in that way because it is a celebration of what 2020 became for us and a lot of other people.”  The song is produced by Florida Georgia Line, Chase Rice, and Corey Crowder. The video was directed by the award-winning TK McKamy and was filmed on Chase’s Nashville property at an old tobacco barn. It illustrates the importance of friends and enjoying the simple pleasures in life with friends.
