Where you left me

ash cooper

This song as inspired by “Red Light” by David Nail written by Dennis Matkosky, Melissa Peirce and Jonathon Singleton.

That song is all about how a relationship ended suddenly in the middle of the day with no warning signs or big hollywood ending cliches and I kind of took that concept and rolled forward a little with it, so it’s sort Red Light part 2! The idea of the song being that the end of the relationship was so out of the blue that it kind of takes your breath away and you just don’t have a script for the things you’re supposed to do next; how are you supposed to react? What are you supposed to do?

So, the song just describes being dumped and really not moving since it happened and just trying to come to terms with it. I guess we’ve all been there where you get some kind of news that just takes the wind out of your sails and this song is about one of those moments.

Hi, I’m Annette, I have been a huge country music fan since the early 90s those were the days we were lucky enough to have CMT in the UK. I enjoy nothing more than listening to country music whilst having a cold beer (or a moonshine) with friends. I try to as many gigs as I can here in the UK and in the USA; I think of Nashville as my second home and I am lucky to have made some amazing friends in Tennessee. Think Country is something I am very proud of, I just want to share my love and passion of all things country music related with you all.
