New Music From Holloway Road

Essex based country/pop duo Holloway must be contenders for the hardest working artists in the industry, and show no sign of slowing down this year.

Always seeking to push themselves, Jack ( Cooper) and Rob ( Gulston) have spent the past few months working alongside other writers and producers both in Nashville and the UK, a first for the duo. Their upcoming six track EP “ Broke” is the result of these collaborations, and in their own words “ It shows how much we have matured as writers and artists”. Released on 14th September but available to pre-order/pre-save now, this third EP from the pair follows a series of stand alone singles.
And talking of singles, the EP’s opening track “ Hang Over Here” is out now ( available to stream in the usual places and to download immediately with a pre-order of the EP ) .This fun, upbeat song is really infectious with a strong beat , and I particularly like the clever word play at the end of the anthemic chorus “ Tomorrow we’ll both be hung over, so head over and hang over here”.
Indeed it seems that this single is a good indication of what to expect in September, to quote Jack and Rob again, “ As much as this record has tastes of serious tones, it’s mainly fun from start to finish, so we hope the fans will have as much of a blast listening to it as we did making it!” . And I’m confident that will be the case!
