The fabulous Texan singer-songwriter Kacey Musgraves has released a new single called “Biscuits” and it is available on iTunes.
This will be the debut single from her upcoming Decca/Mercury Records sophomore album which will follow the GRAMMY winning “Best Country Album” of 2014, Same Trailer Different Park. Five songs from that album were playlisted by BBC Radio 2. Kacey performed to 50,000 fans last September at Radio 2’s Festival In A Day in Hyde Park, London and also appeared at the Glastonbury Festival in June.
“Biscuits” was written by Musgraves, Shane McAnally, and Brandy Clark – the same team who composed several songs on her debut album including ‘Follow Your Arrow” which won the CMA Award for Song Of The Year in 2014.
“I’m very proud to be kickin’ things off with Biscuits! I think it’s the perfect preview to the record we had SO much fun making,” exclaimed Musgraves. “The sound of this song represents so many of the things I love!”
More details of the new album will be released soon.
Musgraves is currently on the road headlining her ‘Same Tour Different Trailer’ tour across the US and says she can’t wait to come back to the UK before long!
