It’s my first concert of 2016. I’m so excited! I just saw Old Dominion about a month ago, also headlining at a smaller venue. Why am I so excited, you might ask. So many reasons…
There isn’t a bad song on their new album, “Meat & Candy”, and when they headline, they play a whole bunch of those really great songs. They started off with their latest single, Snapback, and just kept going. Highlights for me included Crazy Beautiful Sexy, Dirt On A Road, and Break Up With Him.

They just sound good. Their songs are mostly upbeat and energetic, they have undeniable energy onstage, the guitar solos (just wow!), everything just connects. You cannot attend an Old Dominion show and not smile and sing along, it’s impossible.
You may not know this, but the guys in Old Dominion have written a lot of crazy good songs that other artists have recorded. You know these songs, and you love ‘em. And when Old Dominion headlines, they sing ‘em! Say You Do (Dierks Bentley), Save It For A Rainy Day (Kenny Chesney), Wake Up Loving You (Craig Morgan), and others including songs recorded by Sam Hunt, Blake Shelton, and Tyler Farr. It’s like getting bonus tracks on an album, but performed live in front of you!

So if you have the chance to catch Old Dominion live, especially if they are headlining, DO IT! You won’t be disappointed.

Hi, I’m Annette, I have been a huge country music fan since the early 90s those were the days we were lucky enough to have CMT in the UK. I enjoy nothing more than listening to country music whilst having a cold beer (or a moonshine) with friends. I try to as many gigs as I can here in the UK and in the USA; I think of Nashville as my second home and I am lucky to have made some amazing friends in Tennessee. Think Country is something I am very proud of, I just want to share my love and passion of all things country music related with you all.
