Meet the team

Annette (Founder – Think Country)

Hi, I’m Annette, I have been a huge country music fan since the early 90s, those were the days we were lucky enough to have CMT in the UK.

I enjoy nothing more than listening to country music whilst having a cold beer (or a moonshine) with friends. I try to go to as many gigs as I can here in the UK and in the USA; I think of Nashville as my second home and I am lucky to have made some amazing friends in Tennessee.

Think Country is something I am very proud of, I just want to share my love and passion of all things country music related with you all.

Patti McClintic

I’m Patti. I love just about every genre of music, history and I’m a genealogy addict. I’m a pop culture junkie and I have a lot of useless information stuck in my head! I’m so happy to be a part of the Think Country Team because teamwork is really what life is all about, isn’t it?

Bill (International Photographer)

I’m Bill and I’m thrilled to be a part of Think Country UK! I’m a resident of Nashville, Tennessee, which allows me to photograph so many amazing country artists – often so many that I have to turn down opportunities, because try as I might, I still haven’t figured out how to be in two or more places at one time! I love this city and I love sharing the music through my photography. I hope you enjoy the photos and I thank Annette for bringing me on board – it’s really an honor to be here.

Amy Westney

Hey all! I am a musician, photographer, writer whatever you name it. Jack of all master of none… Wait… I mean master of all… yep that’s the one!

Country music has been my beginning, middle and end (cheesy but true…) ever since i discovered it back in 2005 and to be involved with Think Country just means that I get to spend my time immersed in it. I have had the chance to meet a lot of incredible people through music and I am thankful to now call a lot of them friends.

Keep your eye out for me because I’m always here, there and everywhere! In the UK or in Nashville you never know where I might pop up!

Lesley Hastings

Hi there ( or should I say Howdy Y’all??)

So excited to be part of the Think Country team, I am a massive music fan with Country and Americana being my particular passions! Great to see their rise in popularity here in the UK. Just love great lyrics, vocal harmonies and a song with a story! Throw in some steel and I am in heaven…..

I have a serious gig-going and cowboy boot collecting habit, which I am sure some of you can relate to! Occasionally I pick up a guitar and try my hand at songwriting.  I am also passionate about animal welfare, and have recently left the London rat race behind to enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle in Buckinghamshire with my rescue dogs and cats. Cowgirl Lesley. xx

Katie Marker

Hey guys! My name is Katie and I’m from up north in Minnesota.  I was born and raised in the south east part of the state, with roots in upper Iowa and the surrounding Midwest areas. My first concert memory takes me to the MN State Fair where I recall seeing Travis Tritt. I don’t remember my age, but I do know I was young. At that young age a concert seed was planted and it’s been growing ever since. I like all varieties of music, and if you were to take a look at my playlist you’ll see evidence of that. There’s everything from today’s pop music, rock and roll classics, to hard metal rock, and of course country. That’s always what I come back to and what feels like home, literally and figuratively.  My grandparents were the lovers of country music, so I mostly heard it from them when I was younger. Growing up I was the “family rebel” in that I enjoyed country music, as most everyone else in my family that had interest in music, didn’t necessarily have interested in country music.  Thankful that I went against the grain and followed what felt right. Country music has not only been a type of music I enjoy; it’s been an outlet for me and something that was there for me when I needed it most.

I’m super stoked to be a part of the Think Country team! Country music and music in general has brought so many wonderful people into my life. Those meetings have turned into friendships, which have turned into a family of sorts. I love writing and expressing my thoughts, and I love music. Being able to mix the two and enjoy what I do and to work with Think Country in the process makes it that much more meaningful.  Music is an exciting thing and I can’t wait to see where it takes me next!

Katie Louise Ingram

I’m Katie a northern lass from Manchester! By day you will find me trying to help get people out of debt at night you will usually find me somewhere earphones in blasting a country playlist getting lost in the track sipping a Jack and Coke! Watching Carrie Underwood win American Idol opened my eyes to the country genre around the same time I also discovered Taylor Swift! Since then I have always liked it but none of my friends did so never really did anything about it until C2C 2017 last year which was the year I absolutely fell in love with it and meeting the country family changed my life. Nowadays you will either find me travelling somewhere, heading to my second home London to spend time with my country family or at a gig here there and everywhere. I am excited and delighted to be asked to be part of the Think Country team as it helps me take my passion of country music further. Thanks to Annette and the team for having me on board!

Jamie Gardam

Without trying to write something that belongs in a Tinder profile, I’m Jamie: sometimes seen as a bit of a rogue potentially even notorious but all in all I am just an Essex boy that loves iced latte’s and colourful hair accessories with a tendency to continually cause disappointment to my mother and a worry to my therapist as I drink too much!

It took me far too long to visit and fall in love with the world’s ultimate pub crawl that is Nashville, TN but prior to my next visit I make the most of the sights and sounds of London’s emerging country music scene.  Glad to be on board with TC and expressing my love of girls who sing in cowboy boots x

Robin Beers

Hi, Im Robin. I have been a music groupie/follower, since the ’70s (showing my age). Gr0wing up in Oyster Bay, Long Island, N.Y. there was not a lot of Country music playing on the airways. I always found a way to seek out the country side of my youth, Marshall Tucker Band, Poco, Charlie Daniels, Johnny Cash, and my absolute all time favorite, Dwight Yoakam. The list goes on. (of course my disco friends, never knew this,)
Moving to Florida in the early 1980’s was awesome! There was more than one Country radio station on FM!! I discovered the greats like Tanya Tucker, Sammy Kershaw, Marty Stuart, Travis Tritt, Randy Travis. Line dancing every weekend, I was in heaven!!
There is so much great talent out there now, its exciting and they are extremely innovative with their craft. I look forward to each time a new song and album are released.
My son is a bass player and has moved to Nashville to pursue his dream of being a touring musician, and he is on the road right now. I guess you can say it runs in the family. 🙂 So now I get the chance to visit the home of country music, Nashville!!! I love reaching out to the up and comers here in FLorida, there is so much amazing talent. This is not just a job, but a passion!!!
